In 2015, Lauren Khalifeh, RN, BSN and Linda Flar Lund, RN, BSN presented research on the effects of Pranic Healing in the Emergency Department at the 1st Pranic Healing Research & Development Conference in Bogota, Colombia. In their randomized control study, 48 patients of the Geriatric population entered into the Emergency Department with acute and/or chronic pain. A control group received pain medication and an experimental group received pain medication and Pranic Healing session. Results concluded that Pranic Healing was significantly effective in reducing symptoms of pain in the geriatric ED.
